GOALS...
On this page, I have provided academic, professional, and personal SMART goals. The goals I set for myself are challenging, especially my academic goals. Goal setting provides me with a sense of accomplishment and is often an internal motivator to keep me moving forward. Successfully completing my goals also helps me to be more confident in my own abilities. I will work extremely hard to accomplish the goals in the allotted time frame.
Short Term Goals
-
I intend to complete a 40 hour internship for Occupational Therapy in three different settings, prior to February 2019.
-
After the completion of the Spring 2019 softball season, I plan to get a part time job that will be available through the summer of 2019.
-
By May 2019, I will graduate with an Associates Degree of Arts from South Piedmont Community College, and earn my high school diploma in June 2019.
-
By the end of my senior year, I hope to be accepted to all three of my top college choices: Wingate University, UNC Charlotte, and Cabarrus College of Health Sciences.
Long Term Goals
-
Upon completion of high school, I intend on completing my undergraduate degree within two and half years and earn a Bachelor's degree no later than 2022.
-
Throughout my college years, I will maintain an A/B average every semester, which will qualify me for the Dean’s List.
-
After receiving my Bachelor's degree, I plan to apply to Occupational Therapy School and earn my Doctorate degree by 2024-2025.
-
As a recent graduate and licensed Occupational Therapist, I plan to have a full time job at a hospital or private practice within six months, and be in a setting working with children within two years of completing my degree.
-
By the age of 30, I plan on having all schooling complete, a full time career, and a family.
